Harkable keeps as little of your content as possible. Your document never leaves your browser; only the text needed for one generation is sent to the audio provider.

Stored on our servers

• Account email, authentication metadata.
• Credit balance and monthly free MP3 usage.
• Per-generation metadata: character count, segment count, quality, cost, status.

Not stored long-term

• Uploaded files.
• Extracted document text.
• Generated audio, kept for 7 days, then deleted.

Generated audio is kept for 7 days. Your last generations are saved to your account and accessible from any device via the Audio Library on the Account page. After 7 days they're permanently deleted, download anything you want to keep beyond that.

Please do not upload sensitive or confidential documents during the beta, uploads are processed in-browser, but the prototype experience is not yet covered by an NDA. Use generic or non-sensitive files for testing.

For support during the private beta, email support@harkable.app with the subject line: Harkable Support Request. Do not include confidential document text in support emails. Screenshots are okay only if sensitive content is redacted.
